Great news on 3rd October 2019, Salford Council Planning Committee approved our scheme for residential development on Eccles New Road.
A significant 9-storey Residential development comprising 140 high quality apartments, roof terrace and green amenity space. The scheme supplies 12 Studios, 47 one-bed apartments, 75 two-bed apartments and 6 three-bed apartments, to the region.
The commercial heritage of the site is acknowledged by the provision of a 6-storey adjoining Office Block. This contains 6 modern and open plan units.
Eccles New Road is a recognised route in and out of Manchester, which gave rise to an extensive design process. It was important to generate sufficient architectural interest using a contrasting material palette and eye-catching fenestration details. We achieved this through a number of vistas across the site and varying block heights and recesses. As a result, we also addressed over-dominance concerns.
